The STSPIN32G4 is a complete motor control system that combines a three-phase gate driver with a flexible power management section and an STM32G431 MCU. Thanks to its highly integrated and resilient design, it offers the best choice of motor control solutions for Industry 4.0 and new applications spawned by the increasing popularity of three-phase brushless DC motors and battery-powered systems.
Add 6 power MOS tubes to this high-performance STSPIN32 and you'll have a complete motor control system with unprecedented flexibility to choose the best-fit control solution even in the most challenging applications. It can be easily applied in a variety of industrial automation systems, household appliances or emerging robotics and battery-powered systems, greatly reducing space, improving energy efficiency, and significantly reducing development time. The provision of two evaluation boards will help speed up development. EVSPIN32G4 and EVSPIN32G4NH, complete inverter designs, are fully integrated in the latest ST Motor Control software Development Kit (X-CuBE-MCSDK). These boards contain the circuitry required for motor control applications, including shunt current sensors, op-amps, Hall sensors, back EMF detection, and voltage monitoring and protection.
